Create a platform that can easily serve courses as individual chunks of learning or as defined learning paths.
Enable diverse trusted contributors to submit content, then leverage skilled training content developers to convert assets provided to eLearning courseware.
When school budgets are cut, the arts are the first to go. Homeschooling increased dramatically with the pandemic. Many children lost access to quality music education. There are videos available on Youtube, but nothing that provides guidance on what to learn in what order.
Develop the groundwork and platform necessary to provide a variety of music related learning content in a manner that reaches multiple socio-economic sectors.
Cultivate a diverse and inclusive group of instructors and content developers who can contribute in a meaningful way to expand the topics available. Network and promote the idea and vision on social media to expand the learner base as well as the content contributors.
Create a digital marketplace that enables underserved and homeschooled children to receive academic credits for courseware completed. Additionally, develop content that serves adults wanting to expand their musical knowledge regardless of their socio-economic demographic.
Shirley E. Ramsey believed so strongly that music is for everyone, she dedicated the years of her retirement to teaching piano, cello, guitar, organ, bass... whatever someone wanted to play.
If she didn't already know how to play it, she would learn and teach lessons for free.
